Book Club at Square Works: January Update

What better time to unwind with a book than the festive period? We are all really looking forward to spending the holidays with friends and family and switching off from a very busy year. Seeing us into 2023 will be Aravind Adiga’s ‘The White Tiger’ which will be discussed on Monday 09th January.

We love to welcome any newcomers – it is never too late to get involved even if you haven’t read the book!

Square Works Book Club is open and free to all. It runs on the first Monday of every month. Whether you have been reading since you were a kid, or it is a new hobby you are picking up, this book club welcomes everyone regardless of level and ability, and there is a ‘100% no pressure’ rule. This means that if you don’t have time to finish the book, or simply are not enjoying it, you are under absolutely no obligation to do so – just come along anyway and join in with the discussion.

As it is open to anyone, please do encourage friends/family/partners to come along! We will provide some refreshments here, but do enjoy the perk of ordering any alcoholic beverage from the Square Club next door, to get those creative juices flowing!

We have partnered with Gloucester road book shop which means that you can access these books with a 10% discount. Though, if you would like to join but are worried about accessing the books, please do not worry, just get in contact with our reception team either by email at hello@squareworksbristol.comor give us a call on 0117 322 6635 and we will get you sorted.

Happy Holidays everyone!
