Book Club at Square Works

Hello all! We wanted to give an update on the Square Works book club and what to prepare for!

Our first official meeting will be on Monday 3rd October.  In this session we will discuss Jeanine Cummin’s ‘The Outside Boy’, so this is the first book you need to buy and read. We have partnered with Gloucester road book shop which means that you can access these books with a 10% discount.

We have decided to go for a spooky October book as it seemed to be a fitting theme for the month. The chosen book is Anthony Horowitz’ ‘The word is murder’ – a murder mystery that will be sure to prepare you for winter as we settle into the cold, dark nights!

This is however, the last time Square Works will be choosing the book, so start having a think for November suggestions that you can put forward!

Open and free to all, Book Club will be running on the first Monday of every month, in the Abraham Room at Square Works.

As it is open to anyone, please do encourage friends/family/partners to come along! We will provide some refreshments here, but you can enjoy the perk of ordering any alcoholic beverage from the Square Club to get those creative juices flowing!

We are really looking forward to our first, official meeting, so make sure you get cracking with The Outside Boy so you’re ready to come along and get involved in the discussion!

This page will be regularly updated with news on the latest Book Club meetings. For more information please email us at hello@squareworksbristol.com or give us a call on 0117 322 6635
