The Square Works team has selected our March Member of the Month. I am excited to announce that our latest winner is... Harry Parker from Doyle Clayton
Harry is always a friendly face in the office, and the team is very happy that he has joined our community. Doyle Clayton is an employee-owned specialist law firm that focuses on the workplace - from immigration to data protection to employment law. On top of being the former director of the Employment Lawyers Association, Harry brings his twenty years of experience in compliance law to open Doyle Clayton's Bristol branch in our very own offices.
Congratulations Harry, and enjoy your meal for two at The Square Club! Read more about Harry and his work below.
Can you tell us about your job? How did it all start?
"I am an employment law partner at Doyle Clayton Solicitors. It all started in summer 2024 when Doyle Clayton’s founder, Peter Doyle, and I met to explore whether we could team up to launch a Bristol office for Doyle Clayton. Doyle Clayton has a team of about 45 people in London (Cheapside) and a team of about 20 people in Reading but it had no office in Bristol. I have been practising as an employment lawyer at leading firms in Bristol for 20+ years so I know the market well. We arranged an initial 1 hour meeting but we ended up talking for 3 hours and I missed my train home!"
Any recent news or achievements you wish to share?
"We have just thrown our launch party at the Lower Deck at Square Club with over 100 employment lawyers and pensions specialists joining us to celebrate. In what is possibly the coup of the century (!), I have recruited a highly respected Bristol employment lawyer, Anne-Marie Boyle, to co-head the Bristol office with me. It’s a mini-reunion because Anne-Marie and I worked together many years ago at Osborne Clarke, where she was a partner. She is also the first employment tribunal judge to work at Doyle Clayton."
What do you like most about being a member at Square Works?
"It’s like being in a boutique hotel! The Square Works team are fun and professional – we feel very well looked after."
Congratulations again Harry!
