This September, we're celebrating Dave Liddament. This is very well-deserved, and the team would like to say a huge thank you to Dave for his kindness, generosity and of course, for always making us laugh. We asked Dave some questions about his work at Lamp, here's what he had to say:
Can you tell us about your job? How did it all start?
"I've owned Lamp Bristol for over a decade. Lamp builds the software that builds successful businesses. I enjoy the fact the work is pretty varied, it's a mixture of solving business problems and writing code. We've got a handful of clients all of which are solving completely different challenges. One day I'll be working on real life adventure games. The next will be creating tools to automate and streamline business processes and slowly wean them off spreadsheets! I love the fact we have long term relationships with our clients, some for over 10 years. It means we really understand what they want to achieve and can help create software that helps them achieve their goals."
Any recent news or achievements you wish to share?
"One of our clients has hit £1 million in annual recurring revenue for their SaaS, and Lamp has played a huge part in that journey. On a personal level, obviously it's winning member of the month!"
What do you like most about being a member at Square Works?
"You always get a friendly welcome arriving in the morning. All the Square Works staff are super friendly and very helpful. And of course the proximity to Nandos!"
