It's time to announce another Member of the Month! This November, we're celebrating Georgia Silcocks! Georgia's warmth goes a long way and we love having her on board. Georgia is always happy to have a chat, and is a bubbly, warm and fun and great addition to our community here at Square Works. We asked her some questions about herself and her role, keep reading to find out more!
Can you tell us about your job? How did it all start?
I work for Affinity Care, an agency that provides care staff to Nursing Homes around Bristol. AKA the company that keeps moving offices & having loud conversations on the phone all day ???? This is my first 'adult' job since graduating university last year, and it's been really fulfilling helping people find work in the care industry. I actually used to work in one of the nursing homes we supply staff to, so it's all come full circle!
Any recent news or achievements you wish to share?
My achievement is getting member of the month (joking... sort of)!! However I am a keen runner and am currently training for a half marathon in 2024. Whether that will actually happen, we'll have to see!
What do you like the most about being a member at Square Works?
The best part of being a member of Squareworks is definitely the people! Everyone is so friendly & always open to having a conversation. Last week's Halloween event was SO much fun and really proved why Squareworks is a great place to work. The delicious treats on a Wednesday aren't bad either ????
